Japanese Gadget Company Elecom Releases 'Like A Spoon' Mouse

Engadget has reported on a sleek new wireless travel/mini mouse that’s coming out of Japan. It’s named the ‘Like A Spoon’ Mouse (I’m sure it sounds better in Japanese), and as you can see, is a sleek little wireless number. It runs off a single AAA battery and weights on 115g, and Connects to your computer via a very discreet USB knob.

In my opinion, if the color scheme was different, this could almost be passed off as an Apple product. Oh wait, they tried that, if you remember the dreadful ‘hockey puck’ mice that came with the original iMacs . Still, I think the overly simple white design could be bundled in with an iMac and nobody would notice the difference.

At any rate, this little beauty retails for ¥8,000 in Japan, which comes out to $90, which is a bit steep for a mouse. Engadget doesn’t seem to think this thing will make it anywhere else, but if you are the adventurous type who makes trips to Japan, you could score this thing and be the envy of all your friends.
