Cadillac Life Phone adopts fluid technology for display screen guarded by a silicone coating. Touch screen display aids in accessing all functionalities. The liquid solidifies on passage of electric current through it which is done whenever the phone needs to be opened.

Accommodating a couple of projectors, which aid in transmuting this phone into a Laptop. The Keyboard and screen of the Laptop gets projected on the screen and can be accessed from there. The OS is a special Cadillac OS and incorporates running many other applications similar to iPhone.

This phone also serves as a digital key to everything from home gadgets to other necessities. On board are solar panels for charging along with the battery. When actualized this concept phone would be accompanied by a mobile headset and USB 5.0 for breathing life into the cell beyond the solar energy. Promising to be as sharp as tack, it would boar 80 GB SSD, 4 GB RAM and would be adaptable to various video configurations. The videos would be displayed through holographic projectors.

Amazing, incredulous, and a mind blowing concept, whenever materializes (may be 2019) would be revolutionary. Let’s look forward to this awesome gizmo!!

PLZZ FOLLOW THE BLOG IF YOU LIKE THE POSTS

For something that doesn't officially exist yet, the Apple iTablet is generating an awful lot of coverage - but this time there appears to be fire inside all the smoke.
After years of rumours it seems that the Apple iTablet will break cover in a matter of days.
So what do we really know about the most anticipated bit of technology since the USB lava lamp? Come with us as we filter the River of Rumour for the Shiny Nuggets of Truth.
1. The Apple Tablet is called the Apple iSlate
Apple definitely bought the domain name iSlate.com two years ago, and the Apple iSlate may run software called iGuide. Then again, Boy Genius Report reckons that the final name will be iTablet - but many people prefer iBook. As Apple doesn't make iBooks any more, the name would be perfect for an ebook-media-internet-thingummy.
2. The Apple iSlate release date is in March, or April, or maybe later than that
The Apple iSlate release date appears to be rather cloudy: while everyone agrees that the iSlate will finally be unveiled this month, it won't ship until March, or maybe April, or maybe later than that. As for a first look at the Apple iSlate - there's an Apple event on 27 January where it's expected that Steve Jobs will show off the tablet.
3. The Apple iSlate will be an ebook reader
The iGuide's trademark description specifically mentions books, magazines, newsletters and journals, so the Apple iSlate will be pitched at least partly as an ebook reader.
According to Silicon Alley Insider Apple has already approached key iPhone developers and asked them to scale their apps for a bigger screen, and if that's true then the Apple iSlate will be running a variant of the iPhone OS complete with App Store.
4. The Apple iSlate will have 3G and Wi-Fi, or maybe just Wi-Fi
Depending on how you interpret the responses in a recent interview given by Orange France's Stephane Richard there will be a 3G Apple iSlate with an integrated webcam. If there is a 3G version we'd expect a Wi-Fi-only version, too, in much the same way that the iPod is an iPhone without the phone bit.
Then again, Orange says Richard's remarks were taken out of context and mistranslated, and Steve Jobs has had him shot.
Maybe it's just the webcam bit that Richard got wrong, though. The Guardian reports that Apple has been talking to UK mobile operators to find a network partner for its tablet.
5. The Apple iSlate will have a virtual keyboard and maybe 3D
So what user interface will the Apple iSlate have? MacRumors' discovery of an old Fingerworks press release - yes, the same Apple-owned Fingerworks whose site Apple mysteriously shuttered mere moments ago - describes a virtual keyboard "that serves as mouse, standard keyboard, and powerful multi-finger gesture interpreter". This suggests that the user interface will be a cross between an iPhone and a Macbook's trackpad. The New York Times quotes a former Apple designer who claims the firm has created a multi-touch version of iWork.
Apple has also patented a 3D user interface that may or may not end up in the tablet. Whether it's 3D or 2D, the New York Times says "you will be very surprised how you interact with the new tablet."
6. The Apple iSlate will be a gaming machine
Apple has invited leading videogame journalists to its 27 January event in the US, with Kotaku reporting that it has received its invite to the launch. "We have been anticipating a major move from Apple in the games market for some time," said CVG editor Tim Ingham. "This could well be it."
7. The Apple iSlate will be 10 inches
How big will it be? For months we've heard that the size of the Apple iSlate would be seven inches or nine inches, but somebody close to Apple has deliberately leaked key details to the Wall Street Journal including a "10 to 11-inch touchscreen".
We'd certainly trust the WSJ ahead of Phonearena.com, which claims to have a leaked Apple spec sheet detailing a 7.1" tablet running "clouded Leopard". Hmmm.
As we put it in December, "we're looking at a device that is essentially a super-sized iPod touch".

GROWING UP: "A super-sized iPod touch" is exactly what the Apple iSlate is likely to be. Are you excited yet?
8. The Apple iSlate used to be seven inches
It's possible that the smaller sizes were Apple iSlate prototypes, as an anonymous designer has told TG Daily that it's almost impossible to get hold of 10.1" LCD or OLED screens from any Asian manufacturer as Apple's bought the lot. LCD and OLED suggests either multiple models or a twin-screen Apple iSlate, with the former much more likely than the latter.
It's likely that TG Daily has been misinformed, however: Ars Technica spoke to the OLED Association and discovered that "there's no real production of 10.1-inch panels" for anyone to hoard.
9. The Apple iSlate will cost around $1,000 and sell squillions
The WSJ says that the Apple iSlate will cost around $1,000, which sounds about right: that's one and a bit iPhone 3GSes. Even at that price, Reuters reckons it's going to sell shedloads.
If the Guardian is correct, mobile phone firms may subsidise that price - although of course that means committing to a two-year contract when it's entirely possible the second generation tablet will ship next summer.
Ultimately, though, there's only one thing you need to know about the tablet: Steve Jobs is "extremely happy" with it. If it's good enough for Jobs, we're sure it's good enough for us.Adityahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03292855813039330079noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6181974374389669652.post-28182299511604992742010-01-20T05:16:00.000-08:002010-01-20T05:30:33.083-08:0010 gadgets to help you get a better night's sleep

The new aXbo alarm clock promises to wake you up at the optimal time in the morning

We spend almost a third of our life sleeping. Yet millions of us suffer from poor sleep and never learn how to manage and control our sleeping patterns properly.

Do you snore so badly that your partner has been known to physically attack you in your grumbling slumber? If so, there are hundreds of well-worn natural remedies and homeopathic hacks to ensure a better night's rest.

However, if you have tried all of that, if you've drank plenty of water throughout the day and taken no stimulants after 6pm and not looked at the internet or email for at least three or four hours before bed and have done everything else you can to make your brain and body relax throughout the evening and yet you still feel tired, then it might be time to look for some technological fixes to your sleepless woes.

As every professional sleep clinician will inform you, the key to getting regular good sleep is regular exercise, good diet and learning to manage stress and be able to 'switch off' at night. This can be particularly difficult for technophiles, what with the proliferation of online-connected smartphones and gadgets around us at all times. But if you can switch your attention from surfing the net and checking your emails obsessively to playing around with some of the following gadgets and new bits of sleep-improving tech, you may find some improvements to your day-to-day emotional and physical well-being and overall productivity.

1.The aXbo alarm clock

The new alarm clock from German company aXbo is a clock which offers the perfect solution to securing the most productive sleep pattern your body is capable of - by telling you exactly the right time to drag your sorry carcass out of your pit, to ensure that you have had the best possible night's kip in line with your sleep pattern.

The new aXbo clock could well help you and your partner wake-up more effectively

We've tested out the aXbo clock and it could well be the ultimate sleep hack, as it does actually appear to help you feel better in the mornings, measuring your sleep pattern via wrist sweatbands and waking you and your partner up at the optimal point in the sleep phase as close as possible to your set alarm times.

Just don't think you can hit snooze! You can see videos and more detailing how the SleepTrek3 actually works over on the manufacturer's website.

3. iPhone sleep cycle alarm clock

There are hundreds of alarm clocks and sleep aid apps available for iPhone. The only real difficulty is finding one that works for you.

Lexware Labs' Sleep Cycle alarm clock does something very similar to the aforementioned aXbo alarm clock, but this time it measures your sleep cycles via the accelerometer in your iPhone to monitor your movement and thus know which sleep phase you are in.

Pop your iPhone under the sheets to use Lexware's latest Sleep Cycle alarm app

"This isn't really something new. And, best of all, it is completely free. Just be sure to select a nice relaxing video and not the latest Rage Against The Machine remix!

5.iHome iPod docks

Just as with sleep aids and alarm clock apps, there are scores of iPod docks on the market fitted with alarm clock, internet radio and DAB functions. The problem is which one to opt for to ensure you wake up properly. iHome iPod and iPhone docks have been designed to work with a forthcoming app called iHome+Sleep.

iHome's new iPod and iPhone docks will work in tandem with its new sleep-aid apps

These "app-enhanced" alarms can track sleep patterns and gather data about your sleep habits. They are also fully customisable alarms and offer a number of options for you to integrate them with your favourite online social networks. The new iHome iA5 will be available by March and will cost $99 (£60) and the accompanying iPhone and iPod touch app will be free.

6.The Dreamhelmet

No, this is not something out of a Wim Wenders' Sci Fi epic. The Dreamhelmet has been designed specifically for sleep-deprived business travellers and for long-distance drivers as a short-term fix to a major problem on the roads. The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimates there are 100,000 sleep-related crashes per year in the USA and that an estimated 32 million Americans actually fell asleep behind the wheel over the last year.

You might look insane, but the Dreamhelmet is a godsend for truckers and travellers

This combination sleep-mask and sound blocking pillow is a patented sensory deprivation device and, while it may look rather bizarre, if it can help prevent accidents due to lorry drivers dozing off at the wheel, we are all for it. The Dreamhelmet even has two secret 'HiPockets' to hide car keys, credit cards, money, or matches.

It will set you back $30 (a shade over £18) plus shipping costs from the US. For more check out the website at Dreamhelmet.com

7.Oregon Scientific i.Wakeup Sunrise Clock

Controlling the ambient lighting in your bedroom is essential to waking up well. Instead of the blaring blast of the traditional alarm clock, the Oregon Scientific i.Wakeup Sunrise Clock attempts to simulates the dawn in your room, using light to help you wake up in a natural and slightly more gradual way.

Oregon's latest glowing i.Wakeup Sunrise alarm clock

The device will start to increase its illumination half an hour before your designated wake up time. The i.Wakeup Sunrise Alarm is launching in February 2010 at a cost of $130 (£79.60).

8.The Philips Wake-Up Light range

From £50 upwards, Philips' Wake-Up range offers what is perhaps the most cost-effective solution to the problem of how best to ease yourself into the day, featuring a soft, gently glowing light and soothing bird noise or wind chime sound effects to raise you from your sleep.

Philips adds an iPod and iPhone dock to its popular Wake-Up Light alarm clock range

As the lamp gets brighter (and the birds sing louder) you slowly slip back into daytime consciousness. More recently, Philips is launching a Wake-Up Light with Dock for iPod that lets you rise to not only soft light, but your favourite tunes.

The Philips Wake-Up with iPod and Dock retails for $200 (£122) in the US with Philips UK sending over details on release plans and UK costs shortly.

9.The Apnex System – banish snoring for ever!

The Apnex System is a new tech that is still under development in medical labs. It is designed to help problem snorers (and their spouses) solve their sleep apnea problems once and for all.

However, this is no mere magic bedside gadget. It is a tiny box about the size of a matchbox that is implanted in the chest that stimulates the muscles responsible for keeping the airways open during sleep.

Apnex is developing new tech to help snorers (and their partners) sleep again

Chronic sleep apnea affects three million Britons, so this latest medical tech could well improve the health of the nation no end when it hits the market sometime soon. For more info on how this new sleep tech works you can check out Apnex Medical's website.

10.The Dreamate Sleep Inducer

If you don't mind the idea of acupressure gadgets (too much!) then the Dreamate Sleep Inducer, an, might be the key to getting off to the land of nod.

Pop on the Dreamate and head to the land of nod...

Dreamate uses accupressure to gently massage what the company refers to as the "sleeping golden triangle" on the left wrist. Pop it on half an hour before bedtime and start to learn how to train your body to relax and sleep.

Dreamate claims that its device calms the body, lowers stress levels, and induces sleep. Beats getting addicted to sleeping pills! The Dreamate is available on Amazon.co.uk for £42.50

Adityahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03292855813039330079noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6181974374389669652.post-38478502608912061912010-01-11T10:17:00.000-08:002010-01-17T00:04:23.675-08:00Samsung Blue Earth Phone

Samsung Blue Earth - This touchscreen phone (pictured above) has a cover made from Recycled water bottle, plus it has a solar panel on the back so you can Fill any photos you are out and about. Bubbles in the taxi that the battery-powered passenger and select a goal from the touch screen. They can reach speeds up to 25mph and will travel along the path of their own system. After a goal has been selected, the control system logs the request and send a message to the vehicle, which then follow the electronic road.

During the trip, passengers can press a button to talk to the control if needed. Prof Lowson has been working in the taxi with the Bristol-based Advanced Transport Systems since 1995. At Heathrow, 18 vehicles have been purchased to transport passengers and goods from Terminal 5 to the Car Business Park terminal, which will take between three and four minutes. Around 500,000 passengers are expected to use the Heathrow PRT system each year. There will be an event held on Tuesday which will showcase the new firmware along with its new features and capabilities. Apple said in an email invitation on Thursday that it will provide a “sneak peek” at the iPhone 3.0 software, along with information about the new software kit that third-party vendors use to create applications for the device.

The event will be held in its corporate HQ at Cupertino, California on March 17th. Shares of Apple rose $3.07, or 3.3 percent, to $95.75 in early afternoon trading on the Nasdaq. It will be interesting to see what new bells and whistles come along with version 3.0.Adityahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03292855813039330079noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6181974374389669652.post-4960680355232081562010-01-04T03:14:00.000-08:002010-01-04T03:17:46.093-08:00Rechargeable USB Shaver

This Rechargeable USB Shaver comes in a lightweight and portable design that keeps the 5 o’clock shadow away at all times. But recently I came across a faceless watch which looks like just a metal bracelet. There are no dials or digital screens on this watch but apparently it still tells time.

Basically there are LEDs embedded in the bracelet. Press a button and the LEDs light up to show the time. Looking at the picture it doesn’t look like its that easy to read the time as the LED color isn’t contrasting against the metallic bracelet. It certainly looks like an interesting concept for those who don’t like to wear watches but still into jewelery. The product page of this watch doesn’t have any information on the price and shipment date and is still labeled as “coming soon”!Adityahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03292855813039330079noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6181974374389669652.post-11685526360987716312010-01-04T03:06:00.000-08:002010-01-04T03:12:59.138-08:00No-Hands Reading Valet“Look Ma! No Hands!”. Here’s the ultimate in lazy. Don’t you hate it that while you read a book or magazine, that you actually have to hold it? This thing is a miracle – if only it could turn the pages, too.
Actually, this reading valet has many good uses. It’s named the ‘Like A Spoon’ Mouse (I’m sure it sounds better in Japanese), and as you can see, is a sleek little wireless number. It runs off a single AAA battery and weights on 115g, and Connects to your computer via a very discreet USB knob.

In my opinion, if the color scheme was different, this could almost be passed off as an Apple product. Oh wait, they tried that, if you remember the dreadful ‘hockey puck’ mice that came with the original iMacs . Still, I think the overly simple white design could be bundled in with an iMac and nobody would notice the difference.

At any rate, this little beauty retails for ¥8,000 in Japan, which comes out to $90, which is a bit steep for a mouse. Engadget doesn’t seem to think this thing will make it anywhere else, but if you are the adventurous type who makes trips to Japan, you could score this thing and be the envy of all your friends.

Adityahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03292855813039330079noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6181974374389669652.post-52353281126943823502010-01-04T02:38:00.000-08:002010-01-04T02:40:25.525-08:00Remo offers Bluetooth-controlled robot with nightmarish faceAs commercial robotics improve, robot kits are also reaching new levels of sophistication.
